Delivering fresh mushrooms from 19 locations throughout Japan
HOKUTO Corporation produces mushrooms
at 29 factories within 19 strategically located Kinoko
(Mushroom) Centers across Japan to ensure timely delivery
to consumers of the freshest, tastiest mushrooms.
We engage in production and sales of four types of
mushroom - Eryngii, Maitake, Bunashimeji and Bunapi
- making the most of our highly sophisticated mushroom
cultivation technology and under a comprehensive production
and quality management setup. To ensure continued delivery
of high-quality mushrooms to consumers, we also maintain
a specialized research center known as the Mushroom
General Research Institute.
Respect for the Environment: Pillow packs for Maitake,
Bunashimeji and Bunapi mushrooms.
- Elimination of trays means minimization of waste.
- Use of environment-friendly PP films.
Respect for Consumers: Natural culture ensures safe, worry-free mushrooms!
- We cultivate mushrooms under the strictest hygienic standards and quality controls - free of agricultural chemicals and additives.
- Culture media are organic. Corncob meal (pulverized cobs of non-genetically-modified corn) and rice bran are typically employed as culture media.

Maitake

■ Each package contains one whole stalk of Maitake. The stalk is packaged immediately after harvesting, prolonging freshness.
■ Our Maitake retains the appearance of a fresh-picked natural mushroom.
■ Our Maitake is fleshy, offering comfortable resistance to the teeth. Enjoy the enhanced crispiness of our large and fleshy Maitake caps.

Bunashimeji

■ Bunashimeji mushroom may taste slightly bitter at times, but this bitterness is natural and is savored by lovers of this mushroom. Deriving from terpene, the bitterness is said to serve various bioactive functions. Through research and breeding, HOKUTO promotes development of tasty Bunashimeji mushrooms that are less bitter and easier to eat.

Bunapi

"Bunapi" "ブナピー" is a registered trademark of HOKUTO Corporation.
